We seek a highly motivated candidate to support the organizational aspects of Strategy Risks and build the core functions of individual teams. Relevant experience, improving systems and processes, managing external stakeholders, and coordinating complex projects is a must. The ideal candidate is an experienced and organized strategic thinker who can effectively communicate. The ideal candidate also commands a strong understanding of China and the private sector. Responsibilities Include: Ensure timely and effective completion of projects, initiatives, and other operations tasks as needed Research and recommend new technology platforms to improve the firm’s operationsCreate and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations Maintain accurate, confidential files and data records Manage the firm’s vendor relationships to ensure employees’ technology and cybersecurity needs are met Ensure all company documents are organized and searchable within OneDrive Assist the research team with getting subscriptions to relevant databases Desired Knowledge, Education, and Experience: 2-4 years of experience in business administration, operations or relevant field Track record of organizing and managing multiple projects Strong English-language writing and communication skills, effective critical thinking, and strong attention to detail Strong understanding of China and the private sector Experience with data and knowledge management Self-starter and ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to maintain confidentiality Proficiency in MS Office Suite The ability to work 15-20 hours per week with flexibility for additional hours, as required The Operations Assistant role is a paid position that involves the use of a personal phone and laptop.
